About Us
The Bedfordshire School of Dance and Drama offers examinations at graded and vocational levels in association with the RAD and ISTD, the two main dance societies recognised worldwide. All students have the option of taking examinations or just having lessons for fun
All classes incorporate both syllabus and free work, developing a wide and sound subject base. There are also opportunities for children to perform infront of audiences at concert venues.
The Bedfordshire School of Dance and Drama is one of the few schools in the UK to commission original ballets specially choreographed for its pupils to perform.
Our most recent ballet was Silver Cloud (a Native American Indian tale) and following its success, the school was invited by the Duke and Duchess of Bedford to perform it for charirty at the Sculpture Gallery at Woburn Abbey.
