Accessibility
We aim to make the Bedfordshire School of Dance and Drama website as accessible as possible for as many users as possible.
This site uses XHTML (Extensible Hypertext Markup Language) for the content, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for the strucure and style, and follows agreed web standards.
Text size can be adjusted using the appropriate settings in your browser. This can normally be done using the 'text-size' option from the 'view' menu at the top of whichever browser you're using.
If you have a mouse with a wheel facility, and you are viewing a site using Firefox or Netscape, you can hold down the Control key on your keyboard and roll the wheel on your mouse to adjust the text size accordingly.
Access Keys
Browsers use slightly different key settings for the use of access keys:
Internet Explorer - Hold down the Alt Key, press the appropriate access key number, let them both go, then press the enter key.
Firefox - Hold down the Alt key then the shift key and, with them both held down, press the appropriate access key number. See list below.
Netscape 6+ - Hold down the Alt key and press the appropriate access key number.
Opera - Hold down the Shift key and press the Escape key, then let go of both keys. This takes you into the Access Key mode. A menu will appear on screen detailing any access keys attached to that page. On your keyboard, press the appropriate number for the page you wish to access.
