Exterior of the dance studio

The Bedfordshire School of Dance and Drama Studio is situated in the grounds of the Rufus centre, Steppingley Road, Flitwick (almost next door to Flitwick Leisure centre)

The studio complex was specially designed for dance and drama and was purposely built for the Bedfordshire School of Dance and Drama in 1994. The building consists of a foyer, large studio, dressing/waiting room and two toilets and has full disabled facilities.

Interior of the dance studio

The main dance/drama studio is light, airy having large windows overlooking fields and a high ceiling giving a feeling of space but at the same time creating a friendly and safe environment for the younger pupils.

One wall of the studio has full-length mirrors and fixed ballet barres. The floor is fully sprung and non-slip to ensure the dancers' safety at all times.

Interior of the dance studio

The studio is equipped with a full sound system and an electric Roland Piano.

The site on which the studio complex stands is well landscaped and beautifully maintained by Flitwick Town Council.

The Bedfordshire School of Dance and Drama has its own six car parking spaces directly outside the studio and parents and students of the school are allowed to use most of the car parks within the Rufus Centre. Unlike many schools in town centres parking at the Bedfordshire School of Dance and Drama is never a problem.
